Captains blog supplement

Off travelling for a week - still got work here, all still good, but nothing happening for a while so thought we'd see a bit of the area. Adrienne said we should head south, get some sun in Basra. In the end we decided to head into Eastern Turkey. Diyabakir, Lake Van etc. Lots of mountain and lake type stuff I think. We'll be back in Iraq next Sunday. Love you all, A + A

Hi Guys
Sounds like all well with you. Maverick wins the dog fight and gets the girl, the end.
Beasties doing great (NOT), players are coming and going like the X39! Al is our new BLU (he's not amused). So far we've lost 2 games, won 1 and 1 rained off. In yesterdays tournament we won the 1st game then lost the next 3, but we had a lovely picnic!
Renovation of the kitchen is underway now you're safely out of the way, but we're having way too many early nights!
That's all for now, we're thinking of you, Innes & Sue

Don't feel bad about missing the end of Top Gun...Adrienne's never really cared much for Maverick anyway...let's just pretend he doesn't make it.

Sounds like you two crazy kids are having fun mixing it up with the Kurdish Military. I should have known Ade would try to befriend them. Next thing you know, she'll get drunk and try to steal one of their beret's - Alex, I trust you've been around her long enough to know that when the spitting starts, it's best to take her home.

Miss you guys - have fun and watch out for those Camels (they spit too).

Luv,
S.

Just wanted Alex to know that we had a great time celebrating the Queen's birthday!! What's her name again?? Getting all ready for Henry VIII day!

Keep safe you two. All is well in the sunny Okanagan.

Hi Global Travelers,
Looking forward to hearing about your trip.
We've just had Memorial Weekend over here in Western Washington. Because we live in such beautiful surroundings it was a pleasure to trawl around locally and then have a swim and soak in the hot tub.
When do you two get to do any work?
What news on U of Kelowna?
Love You
Pete and Janis

Everyone might like to visit www.krg.org to learn more about the region our loved ones are staying in.
There's a good article on there right now.
