So obviously in Canada you can't just turn on the tv and watch rugby - but you can pay per view, so 1 happy Alex got an early and much appreciated xmas present from Ross and Lynette and watched England trounce the frogs in a flowing game of attacking rugby that saw England blow away the opposition. Just a couple of days left of our trip to Canada. Adrienne's pretty sad - not long enough as it never is. We've been doing family stuff and are pretty happy with that. I spent 4 days with my dad down in the states. A travel tip - don't go to the US with an Iraqi stamp in your passport unless you've got a lot of time to spend at the border.
Adrienne's niece and nephew are as fun as can be so we've enjoyed our time with them. We've caught some Canadian football which her family is mad into, some hockey (on ice can you believe it?, and some baseball - i feel very North American). We've added half again to our body weight with the great food out here so all is pretty good right now.
Off to Turkey on Monday where we've got a 12 day stay! I'll get to watch the rugby World Cup Final and we'll do some travelling before heading back to the mayhem that is life in Iraq - seems all a bit surreal, I guess one day I might spend a whole 12 months in one place...
Nah,
Alex

Hi Guys!
How are you both? I hope you enjoyed Canada and are having a relaxing time. We've met up with Geeta at the Whitelands Apple Day celebration and we're going round to theirs on Haloween for some drinks. They seem happy here. Love Bell x x x
