Hi Guys

Well, here we go again with another update. You'll be pleased to know that everything is okay. No war or bombs, just a small outbreak of cholera so all's good. Seriously there's no problem here with the cholera outbreak but as always we're keeping an eye on the situation.

Anyhow in other news we visited Saddams palace. Apparently it used to be rather nice but a turkish helicopter loaded with bombs and several years of looting have kinda taken their toll. It was on top of the highest (of course) peak in the area and officially had the best views ever. We then visited some caves he had made. Apparently he was going to use these caves to make a cable car across the valley. OK you might say, whatever. However, the valley was several km wide and several hundred metres high. I'll try to upload some pics to impress on you exactly how mad the scheme was. Whenever we spoke to locals and asked if they thought it was possible they said "ANYTHING was possible for Saddam." Barking.

Shortly after that stop I accidently attacked the army. I'll let Adrienne explain that as she thought it was at least as funny as the advert (which is actually the funniest thing possible).

Dr Kamal came back much to everyone's dismay as we have to "manage" an extra person and the other staff get harrassed. Oh well.

Other than that all is quiet at the mo. We're leaving here for Canada on the 26th Sep for 3 weeks so we're basically counting down the days (actually Adrienne really is counting down the days on our whiteboard).

Love to all,

Alex
